Thorough oral exams include use of state-of-the-art oral cancer detection equipment. X-rays are taken only as needed using lead apron protection.
Emergency treatment is always available. Patients will be seen the same day if desired. All treatment options will be considered along with patient input, which is one of the most important factors in our care.
Children are important to us all. Every phase of children’s dentistry is provided, from proper oral hygiene instruction to restorative procedures. Difficult to manage children and orthodontic cases can be referred to competent specialists in the area.
We work to maintain and restore natural teeth with state-of-the-art materials. We use only tooth-colored filling materials for a natural appearance and less sensitivity. For your comfort, we use nitrous oxide conscious sedation as needed or desired. Nitrous oxide is very effective for children as well.
Endodontic (root canal) treatment may be necessary if a critically important tooth abscesses. We treat all teeth (even molars) in our office and a referral is rarely needed. A very high success rate is achieved and in spite of public perception root canal treatment is usually painless.
Extraction (removal) of teeth is sometimes necessary in dentistry. With 35 years of professional experience, we can perform all extractions (even wisdom teeth, unless extremely difficult) with the highest level of comfort possible.
Complete dentures and partial denture services are available also. We will evaluate existing dentures and partials if you are having problems. Implant retention of dentures is an option that may be indicated or desired.
Bleaching teeth is important in today’s society. Dr. Young has perfected a technique which is both effective and affordable with little sensitivity to the teeth.
